Try Dives
A try dive is a try dive! A one off session that runs through the basics of diving and allows you to experience being under the water.
Are There Any Restrictions?
As long as you are over 12 years of age, healthy and can swim 100m then its time to have a go.

Droylsden swimming baths, Thursday nights all year round. Contact us to arrange a try dive.
What Will It Cost Me?
Nothing!! It is completely free to have a try dive and you get an information pack and certificate.
Introduction to Diving Course
The IDC is a taster course for people who are not sure whether they want to take up diving, but want to have a go.
Aim:
To permit you to assess your suitability for diving and to make sure you enjoy it.
Purpose:
Primarily to allow you to find out exactly what the sport is all about, what learning to dive involves and the cost.
Entry Requirements:
- Age 12 or above (Parent/Guardians consent required under 18)
- Ability to swim 100m freestyle
- Course fee of £15
- IDC form complete. This can be done on the night or obtained prior from the club
The British Sub Aqua Club membership 3rd party and public liability insurance covers you whilst attending the IDC.
