About the club
Droylsden Sub Aqua Club was formed in 1975 and is a member club of British Sub Aqua Club. BSAC is the worlds biggest dive club and was formed to promote underwater sport, exploration, science and safety. Additionally to this DSAC aims to provide a friendly, enthusiastic and safety conscious approach to diving.
The club is based in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, and has over 60 members. The club meets on Thursday evenings at Medlock Leisure Centre in Droylsden between 8pm and 9.30pm and then afterwards at Aldwinians rugby club for drinks.
What we offer
The club offers training ranging from complete beginners to divers who wish to continue training started elsewhere. The main requirements are that you can swim 100m and are aged 12 or older.
DSAC also welcomes non-divers and likes to involve family members where possible. Once a month a family night is held at the swimming pool and families are also encouraged to come on dive trips when it is appropriate for them to attend.
Dive trips and holidays are organised within the club throughout the year, ranging from mornings in a local reservoir to weeks around the world.
