Droylsden Sub Aqua Club (DSAC) have been diving since 1975 and currently has over 60 members.

 

We were formed in 1975 and are a member club of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC). BSAC is the worlds biggest dive club and was formed to promote underwater sport, exploration, science and safety. Additionally to this DSAC aims to provide a friendly, enthusiastic and safety conscious approach to diving.

 

DSAC meets on Thursday evenings at Medlock Leisure Centre in Droylsden between 8pm and 9.30pm, followed afterwards by drinks at Aldwinians rugby club.

The club offers training programmes ranging from complete beginners to the highest attainable qualifications.  The main requirements are that you can swim 100 metres and are aged 12 or older.

 

DSAC also welcomes non-divers and likes to involve family members wherever possible. Once a month a family night is held at the swimming pool and families are also encouraged to come on dive trips.
